Half Marathon Training Run 3.4
Today was my first day of vacation in California and a perfect time for a training run! It was pleasantly warm and sunny! Definitely different from home.

Today's run was scheduled and while I didn't really feel like doing it at first, I am glad that I did.

Just Closed... [Conversations with Cosmo]
Conversations with Cosmo: At Home with an African Grey Parrot by Betty Craige
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
After reading Alex and Me I thought it would be fun to read more books about African Greys. I had heard about Cosmo from online websites and thought this would be a fun book. We did enjoy it for the most part, but it was a bit repetitive in parts, which led to my rating to go down from 3 stars to 2. I think it's a good first book from Betty Jean Craige and if she does write more about Cosmo, I would most likely read it.

2012 Mileage Goal Progress 1
Checking my progress toward my goal of running 400 miles this year.
400 miles means I need to run 100 miles every three months.
That means by the end of this month I should reach 100 miles.
Currently I am at 53.92 miles.
That means I need to get 46.08 miles during the remainder of this month.
If I keep to my half schedule I will run 72 miles over the remainder of this month, which will put me a bit over goal and will otherwise keep me right on track.
Here's hoping things go well!

Today I did NOT have a run planned. However, I did NOT let that stop me!
After a rather disappointing shopping trip today I got the swift kick I needed to really amp up my workouts and healthy lifestyle.
I have gained approximately 30 pounds over the course of law school and two attempts at the Bar exam.
30 pounds which I hope to shed.
I do not have a particular timeline for doing such, but I will not give up!
