Half Marathon Training Run 3.11
Oh man, this was rough! It started out good, then it got kind of iffy, then got good, then iffy, and then ended good. I was fighting mental road blocks the entire way. I decided I would rather do my long slow distance run today instead of tomorrow, since the weather is great today and who knows what it will be like tomorrow. It is Oregon afterall! Plus tomorrow I can do my shorter run as a recovery for today of sorts. Cannot believe I am at 17 miles for this week... I cannot tell you the last time I hit that kind of mileage in a single week.
Today's stats: 6.00 miles in 1:17:09

It Looked Different on the Model: Epic Tales of Impending Shame and Infamy by Laurie Notaro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I LOVED this book. Once again Laurie Notaro does not disappoint! If you enjoy her other books, or books that include little stories and her hillarious life experiences, then you will love this book.

Half Marathon Training Run 3.10
Today's run was a bit shorter and a bit faster than yesterday. But my
legs are EXTREMELY sore from yesterday. I am looking forward to a rest
day tomorrow and then back to amping up on the weekend. I am so glad
that I am finally starting to enjoy running again!

Half Marathon Training Run 3.9
I made it! I haven't ran this far or for this long in AGES! Let me just
say... I am OVERJOYED! I didn't walk AT ALL (not that walking is a bad
thing...) but for me it was HUGE. I decided to run at the gym on the
indoor track... It was a bit too wet outside for my liking and the
treadmill room at the gym is always too warm and I start to feel dizzy
around mile 2. The running track is super short (19 laps = 1 mile) but
its nice and cool in there and DRY! Wahoo!!!
Todays' stats: 5.02 miles in 1:00:00
Additionally I have decided to resurrect my participation in Weigh-In Wednesdays.
Weigh-in Wednesday #1 = 169 pounds
**Goal weight = 135 pounds
**Pounds to go = 34

Just Closed... [Mockingjay]
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
While I liked this book, I did not think it was as good as the first two. It took a lot longer to get into and it wasn't quite as entertaining and fast paced as the first two. It tended to lag a little in the beginning and toward the middle, but it got better toward the final third.

I Remember Nothing: and Other Reflections by Nora Ephron

I really liked this book. The little stories reminded me of books by Jen Lancaster and books by Laurie Notaro. Thinking I will look into reading more of her books.
