While I liked this book, I did not think it was as good as the first two. It took a lot longer to get into and it wasn't quite as entertaining and fast paced as the first two. It tended to lag a little in the beginning and toward the middle, but it got better toward the final third.

I agree completely! I thought the first two were very similar in structure and content, and then this one was substantially different. It is almost like two books: preparation is part one and action is part two. I don't know if you know this, but they are planning to divide it into two parts for the movies...so instead of having the three movies (one for each book), they will have four, with this one being two. It will be interesting to see how they divide it up!
