Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran FoerThis book was a heartbreaking story of a young boy who has lost his closest friend, his father, during the falling of the towers on September 11th. The story is from the point of view of the little boy, Oskar Schell, a 7 year old boy who is extremely wise beyond his years. His journey to find comfort in the untimely passing of his father is at times silly and other times very painfully sad. The inclusion of stories from both his father's mother and father are a great addition to the story. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to read it and I cannot wait to see the movie.
